ON1 Effects 2025 is a photo editing program that combines AI-powered tools, layered effects, and ready-made presets for quickly stylizing images. It is available as a standalone application and as a plugin for popular programs (Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Capture One, and others).

Key Features
Layered Processing: Allows you to layer and blend multiple effects, creating complex results that are not possible in programs without layer support.

Generative AI Tools:
Generative Eraser: Removes unwanted objects using AI, filling in the resulting gaps.

Distraction Removal automatically removes distracting elements such as wires, people, vehicles, and sensor dust.

Canvas Extension expands the contents of a photo using generative AI to create a larger image.
Generative Crop allows you to change the aspect ratio of a frame, augmenting the image using AI.

New filters:
Edit Color Filter allows you to select a specific color and adjust its hue, saturation, and brightness.

Match Color Filter transfers color characteristics from one photo to another.

Depth Mask creates masks based on the depth of a scene. It can be used to apply lighting and tonal changes, such as blurring the background.

Presets. The program offers hundreds of presets divided into 38 categories (e.g., Vivid Landscape, Golden Autumn, Ultimate Sunsets, Black and White Films). Eight categories contain adaptive AI presets that adjust to the tonal characteristics of an image. A recommendation system suggests suitable presets based on editing history.

Masking Includes tools for manual and automatic masking. Super Select AI and Mask AI let you instantly select common elements in photos (people, animals, skies, mountains, etc.) with a single click. Color, luminosity, and radial/linear masks are also available.
