Downloaded Google's new IDE but getting blocked right at the start?

The Danger:
Using a purchased US/EU account from a restricted region (like Russia/China) is risky.
The IDE application performs local checks (OS locale, timezones) on your computer. Even if your account is valid, the IDE will eventually detect your real location and block access.

⚠️The patch doesn't solve the problem of Gemini models not working in the chat itself! Gemini models have recently required a high-quality V*N, but Claude and GPT models will work without a V*N.
