♻️ BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT:

- Between 1956 and 1958, the LKZ Design Bureau, under the leadership of Chief Designer Zh. Ya. Kotin, developed a design for a new tank. Two prototypes were produced, which underwent testing from 1959 to early 1960. To test the tank's strength and effectiveness, a hull and turret were also built and used for firing tests at a firing range.
- However, work on this tank was discontinued in the summer of 1960. This decision was made due to the imperfections of some systems and components that had not been sufficiently tested, as well as the lack of tactical and technical advantages compared to the Object 770 heavy tank.
