Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is a special edition of the original game in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the PlayStation 4 series. The edition includes all released early additions, as well as support for VR mode, cooperative Endurance mode, and a new difficulty level of Extreme Survivor. The game takes place in Russia, in a snowy and abandoned area of Siberia, where there are no cities or civilians, only ancient Slavic ruins and old Soviet bases. The plot continues the line of the original Tomb Raider in 2013: Lara returned from the island with a slightly shattered psyche and an aggravated craving for constant struggle (primarily with herself) and begins to try to make sense of her father's records.
