Product Description
10. When a substance (the vapors of this substance obey the ideal gas laws) passes from the liquid to the gaseous state at temperature T and pressure of 1.01*105 Pa, the heat of vaporization is consumed. Assume that the heat of evaporation does not depend on temperature. Calculate the change in entropy, Gibbs energy, Helmholtz energy, internal energy, enthalpy and the work of expansion of 1 mole of the substance in this process. Determine the change in the listed functions if the vapors of 1 mole of substance A are heated from temperature T to T 25°: a) isochorically, b) isobarically. By how many degrees would the temperature of the substance rise if the change in internal energy during the transition from the liquid to the gaseous state were expressed as an increase in temperature? Take the necessary data from the reference book [S. X., v.1].
