Product Description
8. 55 ml of a solution containing 0.2 mol/l Ca(NO3)2 and 0.95 g of crystalline oxalic acid were added to 55 ml of a solution containing 1*10-5 mol/l of thorium salt. Find the degree of coprecipitation and the residual concentrations of thorium and calcium in the solution. PR(Th(C2O4)2)=5*10-25, PR(CaC2O4)=2*10-9. Was quantitative coprecipitation of thorium achieved, >99% sufficient for analysis?
