Product Description
3. The calibration graph of phenol was constructed using standard solutions with concentrations of 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30 and 0.50 mg/l. Chromatographic analysis showed that the peak areas of the standard solutions would be 35, 72, 143, 212 and 358 mm2, respectively. A 1 g sample was taken from paint and varnish production waste and dissolved in 1 l of water. After dissolution, the resulting solution was subjected to chromatographic analysis, which showed the presence of a phenol peak with an area of 182 mm2. Determine the phenol content in the waste.
