1. Calculate the molar absorption index for benzocaine (anesthesin), if 0.3000 g of the substance was added to a 500 ml volumetric flask, dissolved and brought to the mark with ethyl alcohol. 10 ml of the resulting dilution was added to a 100 ml volumetric flask and adjusted to the mark with ethyl alcohol. 5 ml of the second dilution was added to the same flask and brought to the mark with the same solvent. The optical density of the analyzed solution (292 nm) in a cuvette with a working layer thickness of 1.0 cm is 0.369.
