Product Description
14. When coagulating a sol with an electrolyte, data on changes in the partial concentration n were obtained, given in Table 6.6. Calculate the constants k and Q of the Smoluchowski kinetic equation and the distribution curves of 1st, 2nd and 3rd order particles. Calculate the theoretical value of the coagulation rate constant and check the applicability of Smoluchowski's theory to the coagulation of the studied sols. Coagulation was studied at a temperature of 298 K. The viscosity of the dispersion medium is 1*10-3 Pa*s.
