Product Description
1. Calculate and plot the potential interaction curves of spherical particles in an aqueous solution of a monovalent electrolyte at temperature T = 293 K and relative dielectric constant ε = 80. Values of particle radii r, electrolyte concentration c0, diffuse layer potential fδ and Hamaker constant A* for various disperse systems are given in the table below. Interaction energies should be calculated for the following interparticle distances: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50 nm. Analyze the effect of particle size on potential interaction curves.
Dispersed phase r, nm A*1020, J f, mV c0, mmol/l
