Product Description
1. From a 0.0602 g sample of steel, after appropriate treatment, 50.0 ml of KMnO4 solution was obtained. The relative optical density of this solution, measured in relation to a reference solution containing 10.00 ml of KMnO4 solution in 50.0 ml (T KMnO4 = 0.00126), turned out to be Ax(rel) = 0.60. Relative optical densities of four standard solutions containing 50.0 ml 5.00; 7.00; 8.00 and 9.00 ml of KMnO4 solution with the same titer, measured in relation to the same reference solution, turned out to be 1.19, respectively; 0.72; 0.49; 0.24. Construct a calibration graph in Aotn – CMn coordinates and determine the percentage of manganese in steel.
