Product Description
10.8. The reaction of the conversion of hexacyanoferrate(II) ion into the colored ion [Fe(CN)5C6H5NO]3- in the presence of nitrobenzene is catalyzed by mercury (II) compounds. The optical densities of standard solutions measured 15 minutes after the start of the reaction were equal to:
СHg*102, µg/l 1.0 1.6 2.1 2.6
A 0.17 0.27 0.36 0.44
After appropriate treatment, 500.0 ml of solution was obtained from a weighed portion of the pharmaceutical preparation m g. 10.0 ml brought it to 250.0 ml. Take 10.0 ml into a 100.0 ml volumetric flask, add reagents and make up to the mark. Determine the mass fraction of mercury in the preparation if the optical density of the test solutions after 15 minutes from the start of the reaction was:
OPTION 1
m,g 0.4350
A 0.31
