Product Description
10(1). To prepare a standard zirconium solution, a sample of ZrOCl2*8H2O weighing 0.3533 g was dissolved in 100.0 ml of hydrochloric acid. In volumetric flasks with a capacity of 50.00 ml, place 1.00; 1.20; 1.50; 1.70; 2.00 ml of standard solution, gallocyanin MS (zirconin) was added and diluted to the mark with water. The optical densities relative to the first solution were measured. We obtained the Aotn values for the second, third, fourth and fifth solutions, respectively: 0.100; 0.235; 0.330; 0.470. A sample of zirconium alloy weighing 0.1120 g was dissolved in 100.0 ml of a mixture of acids. An aliquot of 2.00 ml was taken into a 50.00 ml volumetric flask, zirconin was added and brought to the mark. We measured the relative optical density Aotn.x as when constructing a calibration graph.
Calculate the mass fraction (%) of zirconium in the alloy.
Task option 1
Aotn.x = 0.320
