34. Solving a chemistry problem

📂 Chemistry 👤 Derkach

Product Description

1. Using the equation of the total ionic reaction, write down the diagram of the galvanic cell.
2. Using the Nernst equation, calculate E at T = 298 K for the indicated concentrations.
3. Electrolyte concentrations are presented in mol/l. In gas electrodes, the gas pressure is 1 atmosphere. Temperature 298 K. Average activity coefficients and standard electrode potentials are taken in accordance with Appendixes 2 and 3. Diffusion potentials are not taken into account.
4. Table 1 shows the concentrations of the anion and cation, respectively, for them and calculate the electrode potentials of the galvanic cell operating due to the given reaction.
