5. The mixture of amino acids was separated by thin layer chromatography. Three spots appeared on the chromatogram at a distance
1-0.005 m; 2-0.021 m; 3-0.04 m from the start line. The solvent front rose by 0.06 m.
a) give a diagram of the arrangement of amino acids on the chromatogram,
b) calculate Rt for each amino acid (1,2,3).
c) choose an amino acid. having the greatest adsorption capacity.
d) is alanine contained in the mixture, if Rf (alanine) = 0.082.
