1. To determine the iron content in the sample, a sample weighing 0.5000 g was dissolved in water. Iron was precipitated in the form of hydroxide and calcined at 1000 C. The mass of the resulting Fe2O3 precipitate is 0.2400 g. Determine the mass fraction of iron in the sample.
