Product Description
69. The electrolytic production of aluminum is one of the most environmentally harmful, since extremely dangerous fluorine gas is released during electrolysis (40 kg per 1 ton of aluminum). Only 35% of the released fluorine can be captured in air-cleaning plants, and the rest is dissipated in the environment. Calculate the minimum forest plantation area around a small workshop with a capacity of 100 tons of aluminum per year, taking into account the fact that vegetation located on one hectare of forest park absorbs 40 kg of fluorine per year.
