Product Description
2. The content of neostigmine methyl sulfate (NM) in the drug "Prozerin" - a solution for internal and subcutaneous administration is determined spectrophotometrically. measuring on a spectrophotometer at 260 nm the optical density A(x) of the drug and A (RSO) NM in a cuvette with an absorbing layer thickness of l 1 cm; reference solution distilled water. To prepare the RSO solution, a sample of NM weighing 0.0516 g was placed in a 100 ml volumetric flask and the volume of the solution in the flask was brought to the mark with distilled water. Calculate the content of NM in mg/ml in the prozerin preparation, if the found ratio of optical densities: A(X)/A(РСО)=0.963.
