Product Description
2. Platyphyllin hydrotartrate solution for injection with a volume of 1 ml was extracted from a liquid preparation of platyphyllin hydrotartrate with chloroform with a total volume of 50 ml and the optical density A(X) of the chloroform extract was measured. In the same cuvette and at the same wavelength, we measured the optical density A(st) of the solution obtained by diluting 50 times the standard solution of platifillin hydrotartrate. The ratio of optical densities was found to be A(X)/A(st)=0.995. Calculate the content of platyphyllin hydrotartrate in milligrams in 1 ml of liquid preparation, if 1 ml of the standard solution contains 0.0020 g of pure platyphyllin hydrotartrate.
