Product Description
85. Calculate the average shift x of spherical sand particles in water (i.e. displacement in 1 s due to thermal motion) and the sedimentation rate under the following conditions: temperature T = 293K, viscosity of the dispersion medium η = 1 10-3Pa s; sand density ρ =2 103kg/m3, dispersion medium density ρо=1 103kg/m3. Compare the sedimentation stability of disperse systems with particle sizes of 10-5 m (coarse-dispersed system) and 10-8 m (colloidal system).
