3. Chlorophyll is an important pigment that determines the green color of plant leaves. When burning 89.2 mg of chlorophyll in excess oxygen, only the following four substances are obtained: 242 mg of gas, which is usually carbonated drinks; 64.8 mg of the liquid that forms the basis of these drinks; 5.6 mg of gas, which is the most abundant in the earth's atmosphere, and 4.00 mg of white powder, which is the oxide of a light widely used metal that makes up about 2.3% of the earth's crust.
