Product Description
8. Based on the data on the composition of a number of mineral and natural waters given in Table 25, propose an optical analysis method (emission and / or atomic absorption spectroscopy) to control the marked content of cations in bottled mineral water. Give reasons for your choice.
Answer the following questions:
1. Can I use the same calibration curve for potassium and sodium for all samples?
2. Will anions interfere with this determination?
3. Is it necessary to pretreat the sample for analysis or can aliquots of the analyzed water be used directly
from a bottle?
4. Suggest methods for determining the content of anions in the mineral waters presented in the table.
