Product Description
610. Using the Rayleigh equation, compare the scattering intensities of monochromatic light from the same source by two emulsions in water with the same oil droplet size and the same oil concentration. In the first case, the oil phase is represented by benzene (refractive index 1.5011), and in the second case, by n-pentane (refractive index 1.3575). The refractive index of light by the water phase is 1.3330.
