Nikitin was dismissed from the organization on the initiative of the employer. After applying to the city employment center, he was recognized as unemployed and assigned unemployment benefits.
Considering his dismissal unlawful, Nikitin went to court and sued the employer for reinstatement and payment of compensation for a forced absence.
