The Kaiser trading company from Mannheim in 1906 entered into contracts for the supply of two consignments of coal: one in the amount of 800 tons. For Bemer to Frankfurt, the other for Munch in Ganau in the amount of 400 tons. For the transportation of goods, the supplier chartered two ships with a capacity of 600 tons each from one shipowner. But the night before sailing, one of the ships sank due to a strong storm on the Rhine. How will losses be distributed? Allow this situation also in French law and compare.
