Resident Evil 0 is the prehistory of where the franchise began. We're going back to the distant year of 1998, to the day when the S.T.A.R.S unit just landed to investigate the Umbrella-controlled mansion. Bravo team includes a newcomer, a girl named Rebecca Chambers, who, along with her fellow soldiers, crashes near the ill-fated location of the operation. Rebecca is left alone and, fortunately, during her search for help, she stumbles upon a Marine sentenced to death, Billy Cohen. Together, they must get out and leave the terrible swamps.
