A drum with a mass of 200 kg and a radius of 80 cm is driven into rotation from a resting state by a constant force F1 = 30 N applied along a tangent to its rim. This gives rise to a resistance force proportional to the angular velocity F2 = 15ω, H, applied at a distance r = 45 cm from the axis of rotation. The drum is considered to be a homogeneous cylinder.
