Description Sword of the Stars II Lords of Winter:

Continued global kosmostrategii that combines war, politics, economics, and more. A key innovation - the opportunity to play for Suul'ka, ancient godlike race that appeared in previous SotS-productions as illuminator: story campaign somehow revolves around sabotage suul'ka arranged in the master sector of space.

As before, the player takes on the responsibility of creating the interstellar empire in turn-based strategy mode, and conduct space battles in real time. In contrast to the first part, where the differences between the fractions were strictly race in «SotS 2" some fractions consist of several races. An example is the association with a group of Lier zuulov slave deacon in a single alliance against the sworn enemies of the first - suul'kov. Zuuly remaining united with their creators (the same suul'ka) suul'ka the Horde.

Star systems are no longer abstraktizirovannym single entity and divided into planets and other celestial bodies.

List of fractions:

SolSily (people)

Imperium Hive (Beehive)

Tarskasskaya Empire (Tharkas)

Morrigskaya Confederation (Morrigu)

Lier-zuulsky Alliance (Lier, zuuly)

Horde suul'ka (zuuly, suul'ka)

With return suul'kov the galaxy, Lier nothing remains but to admit that suul'ka is none other than to Elders Lier that grew to immense size and learn to survive in space, thanks to their incredible psychic abilities. They enslaved in ancient times its smaller brothers, created a violent zuulov and committed genocide Morrigu before other Lier suul'kov rebelled and drove out of this part of the galaxy. And the Lord of the winter returned.
