6. Styrene chlorohydrin is extracted from the aqueous acid solution formed during synthesis by processing 12 m3 of solution of 0.6 m3 of dichloroethane in batch extractors. After this, the raffinate containing up to 2.5 kg/m3 of product is partially disinfected and discharged into industrial wastewater. Calculate the mass of the product obtained from one loading of the apparatus if the distribution coefficient of styrene chlorohydrin in the water-dichloroethane system is 0.027. What will be the result if the process is introduced in a continuous extractor operating in 3 stages with a total consumption of extractant of 0.6 m3 per 12 m3 of the processed solution.
