Product Description
5. Determine which salt is described in the task by logical constructions. Write the equations of chemical reactions.
The salt is pale pink. It dissolves well in water. When silver nitrate acts on the salt solution, a white curdy precipitate falls out, insoluble in nitric acid, but soluble in excess ammonia. When analyzing for cations, hydrochloric and sulfuric acids do not give precipitates. When 2 N NaOH acts, a precipitate falls out, which does not dissolve in excess NaOH. With sodium bismuthate in the presence of nitric acid, a raspberry-violet color appears.
