Product Description
3. A sample of steel wire weighing 0.4400 g was dissolved in a 50 ml flask. Aliquots of the solution of 20 ml were placed in two 50 ml measuring flasks. A solution of hydrogen peroxide was added to the flask. A solution containing 0.00100 g of titanium was added to one of the flasks. The solution was brought to the mark in both flasks. Calculate the mass fraction of titanium in the steel wire if, when photometrically measuring the solutions, the optical densities obtained were Ax = 0.27; Ax a = 0.52.
