Product Description
3. For the tobacco virus dispersion, the following experimental data were obtained on the dependence of the optical density D on the wavelength of incident light λ.
1. Using data on the optical density D of a graphite dispersion versus the wavelength of incident light λ, construct a graph of logD versus logλ, using which you can determine the dissipation value γ.
2.Knowing γ, find the value of the semimajor axis a from Table 1.
3. Based on the given values of the coefficient θ, calculate the value of the semi-minor axis b
4. Having determined the semi-axes a and b, calculate the volume of the particle V: V=4πab2/3
T=300K, θ=400 s-1
λ, nm 420 490 540 690
D 0.725 0.415 0.29 0.12
