Product Description
37(1). To determine cyclohexanone in cyclohexane by absorption at 1718 cm-1, m g of cyclohexanone (reagent grade) was placed in 50.0 ml volumetric flasks and diluted to the mark with cyclohexane. The resulting standard solutions were photometered against pure cyclohexane and the following data were obtained:
m, g 0.0625 0.125 0.250 0.500 1.000
A 0.060 0.085 0.140 0.265 0.480
Vx ml of the mixture under study was diluted with cyclohexane to 250.0 ml and the resulting solution was photometered under the same conditions.
Determine the concentration g/100 ml of cyclohexanone in the original solution if Ax and Vx are
Option 1
0.345; 100.0 ml.
