Product Description
In an experiment similar to that of Stewart and Tolman, a coil with a diameter of d=500 mm had N=400 turns of copper wire. Using two sliding contacts, the coil was connected to a ballistic galvanometer at the moment of braking (Fig. 31.1). The total resistance of the entire circuit is R=50 Ohm. The coil was brought into uniform rotation at a speed of n=6000 rpm and was sharply slowed down, while a charge Q=1.1·10-^8 C passed through the galvanometer. Determine the specific charge of current carriers in copper.
