Product Description
Let a straight line MN be drawn on Earth. At a very small angle a = 0.26", a certain plane AB hits this straight line, for example, the wing of a jet aircraft moving at a speed v = 600 m/s (Fig. 6.16). The surface of the Earth is brightly illuminated by the Sun. At what speed V is the shadow from wing glides along straight line MN? Is there a contradiction here with the theory of relativity? Isn't the result obtained paradoxical?
