Product Description
The battery consists of k = 3 parallel groups, each group of m = 20 elements connected in series. E.m.f. each element E, = 1.5 V, internal resistance r, = 0.3 Ohm. The battery is closed to an external resistance R = 2.5 Ohm. Find the current strength in the external circuit and in each element, as well as the voltage at the battery terminals. Show that with such a grouping of elements, the current strength in the external circuit will be greatest. How should the battery be constructed to obtain the highest current with twice the external resistance?
