Product Description
An electron with kinetic energy W = 10-16 J flies into the space between horizontally located square metal plates (Fig. ) (in the middle between them) parallel to one of the sides of the plates. The distance between the plates is d = 0.4 m; plate side b = 0.5 m; the lower plate is grounded, the upper one has a charge q = 2 nC. Find the speed with which the electron will fly out of the plates. At what height above the bottom plate will the electron be at this moment? The charge of the electron is e = 1.6·10-19 C, its mass m = 9.1·10-31 kg.
