Product Description
The reactor reactivity is the value p = (k - 1)/k, where k is the neutron multiplication factor; if |k - 1| 1, then p ~ k - 1. Find in this approximation the change in power P(t) of the reactor in the supercritical mode, when k > 1. Determine the period T of the reactor, i.e. time of increase in power P by e times. The average lifetime of one generation of neutrons is m. How will the power change as the temperature increases from 1 keV to 10 keV?
