Product Description
A circuit consisting of a series-connected resistor R and a large inductance coil L is connected to a source that maintains a constant voltage U0 at the terminals (DC network). To limit overvoltage when the source is disconnected, a capacitor C is connected in parallel with the terminals (Figure). Determine the voltage on the capacitor U(t) after turning off the source. The parameters satisfy the condition L/C > R2/4.
