Using a collecting lens, images of two point sources A and B are obtained. One of them is located on the optical axis at double the focal length from the lens; the other is shifted from the axis by a small distance so that the line connecting both sources forms an angle φ = 30° with the optical axis (Fig. 139). At what angle to the optical axis should a flat screen be placed in order to simultaneously obtain clear images of both sources?
