In the diagram shown in Fig. 104, resistance values and e. d.s. batteries are unknown. A voltmeter with an unknown internal resistance is connected first to resistance R1, then to R2 and finally to R. In this case, the voltmeter gives readings V1 = 4 et V2 = 6 V, V3 = 12 V. Neglecting the internal resistance of the battery, determine the voltage drop U1 and U2 across resistances R1 and R2 with the voltmeter turned off.
