The Glade Captain is a unit of Wood Elf heroes introduced in The Twisted and the Twilight. It is available if you have Total War: WARHAMMER I and II, as well as Realm of the Wood Elves or The Twisted and the Twilight.

Forest Hunter: Elves of Athel Loren gain bonuses to melee defense and accuracy when fighting in the forest.

Armor Piercing: The damage of armor piercing weapons mostly ignores the target's armor, making it ideal against heavily armored enemies. However, they are often heavier and attack more slowly, making them less effective against poorly armored targets.

Anti-Big: Anti-Big units have an advantage against targets that are at least horse size. This benefit can be a bonus to damage against large targets, or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better at taking on large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge for experienced melee fighters.
