2. The melting diagram of the Sn-Zn system is shown in fig. Determine: 1) how many degrees of freedom the system has at points a, b and c; 2) the composition of the melt that begins to solidify at 300 C; 3) how much zinc will be released from 1 kg of a 60% melt if it is cooled to 300 C; 4) how much eutectic will be obtained from 100 g of 5%, 30% and 80% melts.
